Exceptional Music, LLC, based in Livonia, Michigan provides private piano instruction to individuals of all ages and abilities. Amy Bonser has been teaching piano in the area since 1999 and attracts students from the metro Detroit region. She utilizes traditional methods as well as more creative means to tailor the lessons to each student's learning style. Amy enjoys using technology in addition to a traditional piano to enhance the lesson experience. Amy has a high rate of retention and has received many referrals from her students.
Amy enjoys working with students of all abilities and has experience making accommodations for students with special needs. Amy incorporates the use of movement activities, singing, rhythm, and pattern recognition when appropriate. She utilizes a variety of methods in her teaching, capitalizing on each student's strengths, leading to an enjoyable music experience.

Amy also provides group music and movement classes for children ages 2-9. The Exceptional Music classes are specifically developed for children with special needs, but are appropriate and fun for all children.
